P3 are settling in well to there new classroom and routines.
We have started a focus on food and farming and have been finding out about foods grown in Scotland and how they end up on our plates.
We had great fun making jam tarts with either strwberry or raspberyy jam- both fruits that are grown in Scotland.

P6 will be buddying up with P2a this year!
This term we will be working in small groups to create different structures using the Loose Parts Play equipment.
This week we built an obstacle course and gave feedback to each group.
Buddying has given us the opportunity to work on our communication, organisation and creativity skills!

P2A are beginning their new topic and are very excited!
We have started to learn about “People who Help Us”. We have lots of dressing up clothes, are planning lots of excellent drama activities and are looking forward to learning more about what to do in a an emergency.
As well as this we are also planning to look at other people who help us every day as part of their jobs. The children are coming up with new ideas every day – make sure to ask them all about it.
P3 and P3/4 had a great time last week building and exploring in a loose play session.
Children who returned to nursery in August enjoyed a lovely morning taking in the sights and sounds of the EDINBURGH FESTIVAL at Princes Street Gardens!
