Safe and Warm Workshops for Ethnic MInority Families

**Please note that these workshops are for ethnic minority families/individuals and community groups and not for staff of organisations**The aim of the Financial Capability Project is to empower ethnic minority (EM) communities across Scotland to become more confident and better informed about the financial choices and decisions they make to help improve their resilience for the future.This is one of the many interactive workshops we will be delivering this year. These workshops will be targeting EM men/women/young adults and the wider EM communities who might be struggling to manage their money on a daily basis.In this workshop, Louise Baird, Safe and Warm Adviser – Citizens Advice Bureau Easterhouse, will share some insights into tips on how to stay warm, and safe and where to get help and support locally and nationally.By the end of the workshop you should have a better understanding of:How to identify carbon monoxide hazards and stay safeWhat Help is availableHow to get help and support locally and nationallyThe Financial Capability Programme also offers one-to-one support to help you on your journey to achieve your financial goals.
