Dalry Nursery Harvest Celebration

Dalry Nursery Class children, their parents and staff, were welcomed at St Martin’s Church by Yousouf Gooljary, the minister, on Thursday 4th October.

Yousouf told us a story about sharing with others and we sang a song about sharing too!  The children helped to place the donations of packet and tinned food on the alter.

The church will distribute these foods to those in need.  We would all like to thank the generosity of our families who gifted so many items to share with the community.

More Trips to Water of Leith Vistor Centre

The Blue, Purple and Green groups had a wonderful morning at the Centre learning about nature, weather and the seasonal changes of Autumn. We searched for mini-beasts in the soil and under rocks and logs, and made lovely rubbings of leaves that we found along the path.

The Centre is a wonderful riverside setting right here in Edinburgh, on the 44 bus route and would make a great family outing at the weekend too – enjoy!http://www.waterofleith.org.uk/centre/
