In the autumn ASL Service together with NHS partners are coordinating a series of 6 Primary Autism Parent Information Sessions for parents of current P1-3 pupils with autism, currently attending City of Edinburgh mainstream schools.
The Tailor Ed Foundation has collated a leisure activity guide for children with additional support needs.

Fitsteps is running at St Brides for two sessions from Monday.
Mrs Mushtaq will be delivering a drop in session to Dalry nursery parents who have English as an Additional Language on how to support the use of their home language and English acquisition on Tuesday 18th June from 9 – 10 am in SfL room.

BELOW IS A MESSAGE FROM MRS HONEYMAN REGARDING SPORTS DAY TOMORROW
We are still hoping to go ahead with Sports Day tomorrow at Tynecastle High School Astro turf pitches. The weather forecast for tomorrow looks very variable so please ensure your child has a waterproof jacket and a labelled water bottle with them. Children should wear full length joggers or leggings and a long sleeved top if possible to protect themselves in case they fall on the AstroTurf pitches.
Parents are welcome to attend the event, and it would be helpful if they can accompany the class teachers as they walk to and from the school.
P1 to P3 will leave school at around 9.10AM and return to school around 11.30AM
P3/4 to P7 will leave school at around 1.20PM and return to school at around 3.15PM
In the event that we have to cancel the event due to bad weather we will inform the parents by txt message before the school day
