Stay up to Date With Dalry Primary

With the increasing return of normality in education opportunities to do even more amazing activities in and out of school will hopefully increase. As they do information and photo reports will be appearing here.

Keep up to date with everything happening here on the Dalry Primary website by checking out the news section, parent information section, and your class page under Our Classes.

There are two great ways to keep up to date.

Follow the school on twitter if you are a user. The link is https://twitter.com/dalry1876

The other is to follow this page by email using the form on the front page.

These are great ways to let distant family members see what is happening and for you to stay up to date with events and achievments.

Flu Immunisation

Our Flu immunisation day is earlier than in recent years on Monday 27th September.

NHS Scotland particularly recommend all children recieve their flu vaccine this year because.

Flu can be serious , even for healthy children.

This reduces the risk of children spreading flu to friends and family

To help prevent flu adding to the strain on NHS services, especially alongside of COVID-19 this winter

The vaccine is given in school as a painless nasal (nose) spray, by the local NHS team.

For more information and links to BSL audio and a a range of different languages visit www.nhsinform.scot/childflu

Label Your Clothes and Bring Appropriate Clothing

Image
Even unique style choices can get mixed up.

We’re only 3 days into term and we already have a mound of lovely, brand new, lost property building up.

Sadly lots of it is unlabelled so we can’t save you the trouble of searching and reunite it for you.

Please remember with uniform, and even without, many of the children have identical items of clothing so writing a name inside in permanent fabric marker, embroidering a name or sewing in a tag is vital.

Also please remember that a coat is vital every day with Edinburgh’s variable weather.
