common bacteria which causes mild infections. These are
usually mild but on some rare occasions can become a more
serious infection known as invasive Group A Strep (iGAS).

Our Flu immunisation day is earlier than in recent years on Monday 27th September.
NHS Scotland particularly recommend all children recieve their flu vaccine this year because.
Flu can be serious , even for healthy children.
This reduces the risk of children spreading flu to friends and family
To help prevent flu adding to the strain on NHS services, especially alongside of COVID-19 this winter
The vaccine is given in school as a painless nasal (nose) spray, by the local NHS team.
