P3 Sports Day

Primary 3 had an absolute ball at the infant Sport’s Day this year. What made it even better was that parents could come along and enjoy it with us. The ice lollies at the end were also a welcome bonus! 😊

P4 Forces

This term P4a have been learning about Energy and Forces.  The pupils titled the topic ‘The World’s Energy’ and mainly wanted to explore magnets and electrical circuits.  Magnets in different forms investigated as well as insulators and conductors.  As part of learning about electrical circuits pupils designed and created lighthouses with a working light.

P4a Dynamic Earth

After a long wait we were allowed to go on educational outings again.  P4a joined up with P4b to explore Fab Forces at Dynamic Earth. This was a full day outing so everyone had the chance to experience everything at Dynamic Earth as well as attending the Fab Forces workshop.  A great first outing together!

Don’t Lose Your Lunchbox!

This picture is of a small section of our football playground at the end of a lunchtime.

We of course always try to reunite lunchboxes, tiffin tins and tupperwares with their owners at the time but as you can see from the picture the amount of lost items, and number lacking identifying features, can make be hard.

Sadly our lost property turns into a lunchbox mountain over the course of a term.

So if you can in any way mark your boxes with a name that would be very helpful. Either written in permament marker on the box, written on masking tape on the box or a proper name sticker. Even just a big sticker with a picture on that help’s the child identify their box and be a bit keener to care for it can help.

If you have lost a lunchbox or any property remember to check lost property.
