P2/3 First EVER school Trip

Excitement levels were through the roof as we embarked on our first official school trip!

We boarded the coach and travelled to the amazing Dynamic Earth. The children were able to explore the development of planet earth with lots of interactive displays.

We also had the chance to experience what it must feel like in the middle of the Rainforest – which the children loved following their investigation into the Amazon rainforest earlier this year.

Finally, we had an exciting experience in the Planetarium, bringing our learning about the first moon landing to life.

The children were great representatives of the school and I was very proud of them all.

WE HAD AN ASSEMBLY!!!

For the first time since March 2020 we had a full school assembly at Dalry.

To put that in context Our P3s last went to assembly over 1/3 of their lives ago and the P1s and P2s have never had a full school assembly.

There was a lot of excitement and many happy faces as we were able to celebrate certificates of achievment at all levels to gold and a very sepcial medal for Saanvi in P7!

It was amazing to have this massive step on the road back to normal. It feels like we are almost there.
