Nursery Trip to Edinburgh Castle
We had wonderful trips to to Edinburgh Castle this week.
We saw and did lots of interesting things including, seeing the Honours of Scotland, the Castle prison and Castle well, hearing the 1 o’clock gun and enjoying a fantastic view of the city.

World Book Day Dress Up
We had some great dressing up to mark World Book Day last week. From superheroes to Mary Poppins all types of books were represented!
Nursery Book Day At Fountainbridge Library
To celebrate World Book day we had lovely trips to Fountainbridge Library where we listened to stories, sang songs, made our own bookmarks and had a tasty snack! Thank you to all the parents who joined us on the trip and of course the library staff!
Dads Rock Feeding Workshop Sessions
Edinburgh Dads support organisation Dads Rock have sent us the following message.
Feeding Workshop and More!
Throughout 2019 we’re going to run a series of workshops and sessions for Dads, the first is all about Feeding.
We’ve teamed up with Claire Burrell from Food Monsters, to deliver the feeding workshop on Sat 27th April from 10-11.30am at Granton Church. The workshop is open to Dads with any age of kids, there will be time for questions during the workshop. You can sign up here: Food
As our playgroup will be running at the same time in another hall, your children and their mum (and other parents) are welcome to come to the playgroup whilst you are in the workshop.

Jessie & Friends Internet Safety for 4-7 year olds
CEOP have launched a new internet safety campaign aimed at supporting parents and carers of 4-7 year olds.
The campaign features child friendly characters Jessie and Friends in a series of helpful animations.

Early Years Career Information sessions
Edinburgh Council are holding a free information session for those interested in working in early years education on 29th of March.
There are fantastic careers open with the council with help to train.
