Samskrita in P3 has been doing classical singing at Edinburgh Cultural centre in recent weeks.

She has also been doing something unusual, feeding alpacas!

Well done Sanskrita!

If you achieve something outside school, a sporting achievment, a show or cultural event, and you want to share in our WIDER ACHIEVEMENTS section then send the photos to the school admin email address titled FAO Mr Bennett and with a few words explaining the event. We are always proud of the amazing things our Dalry students (and sometimes teachers) achieve outside school!

P3 Farmers

P3 have really been enjoying taking part in our whole school LOVE Gorgie Farm project.  Here are some pictures from our visit to the farm where we had the opportunity to find out about the wide variety of plants, fruits and vegetables grown there.  We also took part in an exciting scavenger hunt and finally got to have a sneaky visit to see the animals before walking home. Thanks to Gorgie Farm for making it a very fun trip for our first school excursion in 2 years!

P3 STEM Eiffels

Primary 3 have been focusing on their French language skills this year and after learning lots about French culture, took part in a STEM activity whereby they had to build an Eiffel Tower using only paper straws, scissors and sellotape.  After much group discussion and trial and error, I think they were very successful at creating towers which stood up on their tables without support!
