If emailing the school for tech support please include your child’s first name, surname and class number in the body of the email as when passed to the tech supporters they may not know who they are supporting without it.
The first port of call should be your class tech support channel in teams and then admin@dalry.edin.sch.uk if unable to access

Whilst we have not been able to have our annual Nativity performance all together in school we have still managed to produce a digital version for everyone to enjoy. Primary 1s and P1/2s practised and recorded their singing and dancing outdoors following Scottish Governemnt guidance, P2s from P1/2 were recorded narrating the story and P2s acted out the story on the stage. The very talented Mrs Ewen with some help from Mr Bennett edited the clips and have put together an amazing show for you all to enjoy.
I’d like to thank all of the staff teams in P1, P1/2 and P2 for working their magic to make this all possible for the children, and for the parents and carers to have a lasting memory of their child talking part in this popular annual event.
The whole school watched the premiere at 9.15AM in their classes and P6 were given the link to access at home on Teams whilst they are self-isolating.
Please click on the link below, sit back and enjoy Dalry’s performance of ‘A Bundle of Joy’

We have worked hard all week preparing our classroom for Christmas. The children have been saving boxes for weeks and Ms McDermot has been collecting milk bottle tops to decorate our junk modelling tree. We applied two layers of paint before building the tree and decorating it with abandon! We hope you like it.
P1/2 have received the fabulous Bookbug and Read Write Count bags today.
We had so much fun reading all the books and completing writing and art and craft activities related to them. P” also enjoyed trying out their story cubes and “Talk it Out” and “Act it Out” cards!
Make sure to have a look at the parent information included in the bag.
We have been really busy preparing for Diwali in class this week. We used clay to make gorgeous DIya, painting them white and then decorating with colourful paints and glitters. Our Rangoli mat was a collaborative effort and looks amazing at our classroom door. One of our lovely P2 girls preformed a spectacular dance and performed a show with puppets! Well done P1/2 and Happy Diwali!
In our P1/2 STEM masterclass this week we began to learn about programming. We loved using our Beebots and took turns programming them to travel to our friends! Next week we will be learning how to instruct them to turn left and right.
