We were joined by mums, a dad and a little sister and brother for our Christmas BIG SING Monday 17th December.
We sang lots of Christmas Songs and other Nursery Favourites. Mrs Ewen, our Music Teacher, played the piano for us! Thank you to everyone who joined us and sang along!!!
Primary 7 invited parents into their classroom for the launch of “Read, Write Count” recently and to share the learning that they have been doing with regards to WW2. Everyone in the class designed and made their own Anderson Shelters.
We all got out of school on the annual Christmas cinema trip.
We headed up to Fountain Park with help from Bill the Lolly and lots of parents and enjoyed The Grinch.
Mrs Honeyman even gave her special hi-vis vest its yearly outing!
We would all like to say a special thank you to Parent Council for fundraising hard to provide a lovely Christmas snack bag for everyone, to all those parent helpers and also to Bill who stayed on to cross the children safely there and back.
We love football and basketball at Dalry but we have recently instituted No Football Thursdays just one lunchtime a week to give us a better chance to get creative and play with our loose parts equipment.
In our two Thursdays so far we have seen some fabulous creativity and fun!
Dalriada were the winning clan this term and go to enjoy a movie afternoon with snacks and a choice of films.
Yesterday our P3-P7 classes had a great Christmas lunch and after dinner dance.
