Empowering Seperated Parents Course
One Parent Families Scotland and Family Journeys will be co-delivering EMPOWERING SEPARATED PARENTS – Understanding How Children Experience Separation and Divorce. This is an opportunity for both resident and non-resident parents to support the mental and emotional health of their children following separation. Learning together, parents will look at child development at different ages, think about how transitions and traumas affect children and what they most need from their parents to successfully navigate this period of their lives.
This 6 session course will start via Zoom on Wednesday, May 19th (10:00 – 11:30) and will continue for the following 5 Wednesdays. More courses will follow. If you would like to get more information or to be refered to the course ask Mrs Mason either at the school gate or via the admin email address.
P3 Read Write Count Challenge

P4a Maths Puzzle Fun
P4a having fun doing a maths puzzle. Great problem solving skills on display, and very proud pupils when they got a correct answer!
P1/2 PE Outdoors
Primary 1/2 had great fun learning different exercises to stretch their bodies outside in the sun. Well done P1/2 you did an amazing 👏 job!
Murrayfield Wanderers- After School Rugby
Starting from the 27th April, Murrayfield Wanderers FC are delighted to offer rugby for the next four weeks for primary schools at Roseburn park.

Easter Egg Contest Gallery
The Clan Chiefs are hard at work judging the entries to the Easter Egg contest, which will be announced later today.
We have been overwhelmed by the number and quality of the entries this year, especially given we weren’t able again to have a judging in school thanks to the pandemic. Hopefully next year we can do that again, especially given the amazing work by all entrants this year.

P2 Magic Measuring
The boys and girls in Primary 2 have been busy measuring this week by making potions in groups and pretending to be builders and architects by calculating the length of objects. We have also been comparing weight and length by investigating whether something is heavier or lighter and longer or shorter with practical activities.
We really enjoyed making a mixture of love potions, stretchy potions and invisibility potions 🧪 🧫
