Hearts FC inovation centre have two coding courses for kids P4-7 starting soon.
They currently have two clubs available for P4-P7 students: CoderDojo Coding Club and The Tech Treehouse. We only recommend The Tech Treehouse to young people that already have foundational coding knowledge, either from attending CoderDojo Coding Club or otherwise. Therefore, for first timers please sign up to CoderDojo Coding Club.
Go to linktr.ee/HeartsIC to register to them!
CoderDojo Coding Club:
6 Weeks ; Mondays ; 4:00-5:15
16th January – 27th February
Learn the basics of drag-and-drop coding by making something fun with the micro:bit, whether it is a virtual pet, a musical instrument, or a magic 8-ball!
The Tech Treehouse:
10 Weeks ; Fridays ; 2:00-3:00
20th January – 31st March
The Tech Treehouse is less of a club, and more of a supportive space for you to drop-in and work on developing your own tech projects, such as a video game, invention, or website!

Last Week we had the fun of celebrating Christmas with one of our unique school traditions. The Christmas Clan event!
In our Clan events the children are mixed across age groups in teams from their clan. They then visit all the teachers from their clan to do different crafting activities.
