You will be aware that the next phase of provision of universal free school lunches to primary 6 and 7 pupils was originally intended to begin from August 2022. The Scottish Government have now confirmed this will be delayed. We will keep parents and carers up to date with the expansion of universal free school meals as we receive information from the Scottish Government.
Our new menu is now live for booking on ParentPay! Remember meals are free for pupils in P1-P5 and all special school pupils. Book now for schools coming back in August – Family favourites such as chicken Kiev, pork sausage & mash. Or try dishes from around the world like our lamb kofta and 3 bean chili tacos!

For the first time since March 2020 we had a full school assembly at Dalry.
To put that in context Our P3s last went to assembly over 1/3 of their lives ago and the P1s and P2s have never had a full school assembly.
There was a lot of excitement and many happy faces as we were able to celebrate certificates of achievment at all levels to gold and a very sepcial medal for Saanvi in P7!
It was amazing to have this massive step on the road back to normal. It feels like we are almost there.

Primary 3 had an absolute ball at the infant Sport’s Day this year. What made it even better was that parents could come along and enjoy it with us. The ice lollies at the end were also a welcome bonus! 😊
