On Monday our P6 roboteers (Adam, Shree and Fabio, with support from Mr Bennett and Kunal) took their place in the grand final of the Edinburgh schools robotics and coding competition – “Marty’s Coding Party”.
They won the technical achievement prize, bringing home a second Marty coding robot for the school and were the only primary in Edinburgh to gain an award in the contest, which was open to all primaries and secondaries.
Our award was given for coding quality and cleverness in engineering a new sensor system.
Here are our team being given their prize by the CEO of Robotical.
Robotical are the designers of Marty and co-sponsored the challenge along with CGI and Edinburgh Council.
Well done to Team Dalry!
