Our New Playground Mural is Finished
Our amazing new playground mural is finished. Our art club have worked so hard on it with the support of artist Damian Callan. Damian and the club has been working with Mrs Dong and children in P6 and P7 to create a mural which celebrates our links with Scotland and China.
We hope to see it installed by the next school year.
Eid and End of Term Family Meal
Pupils, parents and staff all enjoyed a wonderful Eid and end of term celebration after school on Tuesday.
The hall was packed, and there were lots of delicious treats for everyone to taste from around the globe.
We had amazing activities too from archery to balloon modelling
Thank you to all of the parents who helped and to the parent council who organised.
Thank you also to local businesses Pizzeria 1926, Saltyard and Vegware (who supplied all of the biodegradable cutlery and crockery).

P5 John Muir Award Assembly
P5 has been working hard all year towards their Discovery level John Muir Award. Pupils have to discover and explore a wild place. We visited Corstorphine Hill on a number of days during the year. They had to help with a conservation activity and for this the class helped sow a wildflower meadow in Murieston Park which will come into flower in July or August – feel free to visit! Finally the had to share their learning with others. The class has had a lot of fun and led an assembly on 10th June to share what they had done. Well done all!
