Primary 2B are taking part in a Stem Challenge. They have to build a raft for the Three Billy Goats Gruff. They had great fun working in teams and discussing how they will get their rafts to float.

P3b Enjoy Scots Week Party and @LewisCapaldi Singalong
We had a Scottish party on Friday in Scots Week and had tablet, fudge, shortbread, oatcakes and irn bru.
We also listened to Scottish music and sang along to some Lewis Capaldi!

P3b were learning about the artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh throughout our recent Scottish week, and created our own Mackintosh roses.

P3B have been learning to give and receive critical feedback to their peers using their own artwork.
P3b Get the Measure of Measurements
P3 have been doing a lot of measuring lately. They were learning to measure using standard and non- standard units.
Then they were learning how to weigh objects using a variety of scales and estimating what objects were heavier or lighter.

We’ve had some great but late Christmas photos in from P3b.
They made Rudolph biscuits by decorating digestive biscuits.
P3a and 3b sang Christmas songs for an older group at their Christmas party at St Martin’s.
P3b Sense Adjectives
P3b were using our 5 senses to try different foods to help us explore adjectives.
