P3 are settling in well to there new classroom and routines.
We have started a focus on food and farming and have been finding out about foods grown in Scotland and how they end up on our plates.
We had great fun making jam tarts with either strwberry or raspberyy jam- both fruits that are grown in Scotland.
The playgrounds at Dalry got some fabulous new markings over the summer.
Since we’ve been back the children have loved the new activity trail, the king squares court and the repainted football pitch in particular.
Thanks to the parent council for organising this work and sourcing funds to supply the brilliant results.

There are also two special events taking place including a Schools concert on Monday at which our P5 pupils will be singing.
What a fantastic day we all enjoyed at Saughton Rec. The weather was glorious, the food was very tasty and the opportunities to relax, socialise and explore were wonderful! A BIG, BIG, thank you to all the family members who came along!
