We had a great Christmas Clan Event this week.
The whole school got mixed up within their clan to tour their Clan teacher’s classes doing different Christmas crafts.
We all then came together to share our craftwork.
Many thanks to all our helping family members and staff for helping to make the day such a success.

Thanks to all of our Dalry families that attended our P1-P3 Celebration of Home Learning.
Last week, to celebrate ‘St Andrew’s Day’, all our children were joined by mums, dads, brothers and sisters and Primary 7 too!
We had a very special dance event at St Martin’s Church, led by Caroline from ‘CEILIDH KIDS’. We all learned Scottish Ceilidh Dances!
A 7 week “Raising Children With Conifidence” course will start on 28th of January 2019.
This course will be aimed at Arabic speakers with limited English.

Mrs Smith has been busy getting some of the old favourite Dalry Christmas decorations out!
Behind today’s door Jack and Levi in P6 have been hard at work on decorations for the school hall!
St Martin’s, one of our local churches, is holding their carol concert on Saturday 22nd December.
Happy St Andrew’s Day from all at Dalry Primary
Last year our P6 robotics team won a second Marty robot for Dalry at an Edinburgh wide competition.
Next term our P7 coders (including that team) will be learning more about coding using both of our Marty robots.
But before Dalryborg 2.0 can take to the classroom our digital leaders from P5 and 6 will be assembling it.
This week our P5 digital leaders did a thorough kit check and then got to grips with installing the first servos.
