Fitsteps Dancercise Programme at St Brides
Fitsteps is running at St Brides for two sessions from Monday.
P2 Streetdance Fun
P2 had a great time taking part in Street Dance with our visitor from Edinburgh Carnival. We really enjoyed learning new dance moves and showing our own moves too!
Dad’s Rock Father’s Day Tynecastle Takeover
Every Father’s day Dad’s Rock have a celebration of fathers and families. This year they’re heading to takeover the awesome Tynecastle Park and together with Big Hearts and friends will have some outdoor and indoor fun. The takeover event is for all the family (most activities aimed at under 10s)
Reading Rainbows Nursery Trip to Fountainbridge Library
All Pre-school children were invited to a very special READING RAINBOWS TRIP TO FOUNTAINBRIDGE LIBRARY.
Mo, the librarian, read two stories ‘This Zoo is Not for You’ and ‘Every Bunny Counts’.
We enjoyed tasty snacks and drinks, made our own bus, and everyone was presented with a wonderful Reading Rainbows Book Bag which contained the books we had enjoyed listening to and other treats.
Thank you to the library for hosting this event and to all the parents who came with us and made this trip possible.

Carnival Comes to Dalry
The whole school enjoyed an amazing performance assembly on Monday by International Artists from around the globe who are part of the Edinburgh Jazz Festival Carnival. We enjoyed music, dance and drama during their performance show to us.

Football Champions
Congratulations to Kevin and Dominik in P7 and all their teammates in the Maradonna 2007s team at Salvesen Community Football Club.
They attended a youth football tournament in Ayr recently, and won!

Sunday Funday 2nd June at St Martins
St Martins Community Resource Centre (232 Dalry Rd) will be holding a fun day on 2nd of june.
‘Magic Ian’ will be performing a magic show from 12.45-1.30,
all welcome, light sandwich lunch and games.
Marty Is Coming to Coder Dojo at Tynecastle Stadium
We always like to encourage our pupils to use the coder dojo at Hearts’ Tynecastle stadium.
Next week our friends at Robotical are bringing Marty to the dojo for a 6 week robotics and coding course.
We use Marty with our older coders at Dalry so this is a good way to get an introduction to what it can do.
