P2a and P2b visited Fountainbridge library as part of their learning during Scottish Book Week 2023. They met the author Maxine Bryce and enjoyed listening to her new book ‘Voyage of Planet Dreams’
Our Nursery and P1 pupils and parents enjoyed a fabulous Diwali celebration on Monday. We were treated to performances of dance, song and story and the children also got to taste some deliciously spicy celebration foods.
At the end of their block of Judo classes lots of participants were able to proudly display their certificates of achievement.
We all enjoyed musical performances this week from some of our P6 pupils during our Big Sing. We loved the body percussion activity which got us all moving.
As part of their World War 2 topic Primary 7 visited the Poppy Factory.
Primary 7 have buddied up with the Primary 2’s and read with them once a week.
On The 31st of October Primary 5 to Primary 7 attended the Faith And Belief Roadshow. The children learnt about Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Baha’i, Buddhism and the role that the community police play to tackle hate crime.
