Primary 7 went to Murieston Park for outdoor learning. They took part in an autumn scavenger hunt and played some games.

P1 Kings and Queens
P1 have started learning sounds this week with a and t. We enjoyed the sunshine outside on Wednesday and played games. The class made crowns and were pretending to be kings and queens!
P5 Team Games
P5 have been playing team games, working on improving speed and agility and developing cooperation skills.
Settling into P1/2
All the children have settled into primary 1/2 brilliantly. They have really enjoyed getting to know their new classmates and becoming acquainted with their new classroom. We’ve also had loads of learning opportunities outdoors – have a look at some of our fabulous photos!

P1/2 Outdoor Games
P1/2 been learning a lot of new games and doing lots of fun activities in the fresh air this term. The children are using their listening skills to follow instructions and loved learning “What’s the time Mr Wolf” today!
P1 Cutting and Monsters
P1s have been busy with our cutting and jigsaw skills and talking about our Class Charter this week! We read the ‘Colour Monster’ story which talks about different feelings and made our own colour monsters.
P7 Guide to Accessing Teams and Onenote
P7 Have prepared a video guide to logging into teams and through that Onenote (the classes from P4-P7 will be using Onenote alongside Teams as it works better with some iPads)
P1/2 Constuctions
The children in P1/2 have been planning, building and modifying very elaborate constructions this month.
They love using our large bricks and often add to their designs using the other toys in class and the materials on our tool bench.

P2 Playground Games
P2 have been enjoying learning a variety of new playground games with Ricky, our Active Schools co-ordinator, every Thursday. We have been practising these games during our Tuesday PE lesson and we are going to use these games in the playground during snack and lunch, so that our playtime is safe and fun!
