P2a and Mrs Harris-Toner’s Last Roots of Empathy Session

P2a completed their Roots of Empathy program with instructor Mrs Harris-Toner. Each visit the children enjoyed getting to know Baby Angus and seeing how he was changing and growing. We connected with our Roots of Empathy family through regular visits and news with mum Miss Younger and Baby Angus. And on their last visit Angus delighted the children by showing us he could crawl across the green blanket. Also we had a very special visit from big brother Arthur, who was our first Roots of Empathy baby in 2018. The children loved to see how happy Angus was to see his brother and Arthur was happy to answer all the children’s questions.

The lessons gave the children an opportunity to share their feelings and experiences. The children especially enjoyed the art activities, story books, learning how to look after a baby and thinking of their wishes for Baby Angus as he grows up. Last month the children said a big thank you and fond goodbye to Angus and Miss Younger. This week the children were delighted to receive their well deserved certificates.
