Primary 5 have been busy learning about different modes of transport. The pupils were tasked with creating Keynote presentations explaining the advantages and disadvantages of different types of transport. We worked on our presentation skills which included body language, tone of voice and eye contact with the audience.

Primary 5 enjoyed their Creative Coding workshop this week, taught by Generation Science. The pupils were given different coding challenges to complete which involved movement with robots. We worked on following instructions, teamwork and communication.

We had a brilliant start to our whole school Scots week with an assembly with ‘The Sorries’. We all enjoyed performances of poetry by P6 and P7 as well as lots of energetic music and song from Marty and Douglas. We were joined by our older nursery pupils who will be moving onto P1 in August too.  Next week we will look forward to performances from P1 to P5/6.

Robotic Adventures in STEM

Using the Lego Spike Essentials kit participants dive into the realms of STEM while exploring the world of robotics and its endless possibilities.

As part of a dynamic team, participants are empowered to channel their creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking skills to design, build, and code their very own robots. At this club, imagination knows no bounds!

Move forward with Tech. Shake up the Sport. Change the Game.

Young individuals will be immersed in a diverse range of football-related technologies, featuring the choice of either 8 enriching after-school sessions or a 5-day holiday workshop that even includes breakfast and lunch.

As they explore the expanding role of data in football, discover technologies that champion inclusivity, and embrace alternative approaches to playing football, your children will be empowered to challenge the traditional norms of football, with aspirations to one day aim to change the game.

The choir performed at the local Co-op and impressed shoppers with their wonderful singing

We enjoyed performances from each year group, our violin students and our choir, as well as a visit from Father John from St Martin of Tours Episcopal Church.

Clan Caledonia enjoyed a day of cooking and crafting.

P1 to P7 enjoyed a lovely festive Christmas lunch today. Thanks to Miss Smith for decorating the hall, organising the juice and the Christmas party music.

We had a brilliant morning watching ‘Wish’ for our annual whole school cinema trip.
