Murrayfield Wanderers Rugby Festival

A message for families from our neighbours at Murrayfield Wanderers Rugby Club.

The Murrayfield Wanderers rugby development team are providing some fantastic FREE and EXCITING opportunities across the November and beyond and we would love for the families in Dalry to get involved with the rugby opportunities on offer. 

Please have a look at all the activities available for your kids: 

Rugby After-School Rugby on the NEW ASTRO at Tynecastle High 

Time and date: Mondays 4pm-5pm, 4 more weeks to go!

Location: Tynecastle High School

Open to all P4-P7 in our community and ideal for beginners, girls and boys.

P7 Rugby Festival – FREE of Charge

Time and date: Sunday the 20th November, 12pm – 1pm

Location: Roseburn Park (please type into google maps ‘Murrayfield DAFS cricket club’ for the exact location.)

Open to all P7s in our community and ideal for beginners girls and boys.
Rugby games, skill and competition stations, food and prizes.

Raphael at the Gang Show

Rafa in P5 has been performing in the Gang Show along with 250 Edinburgh children. Rafa and all the other children have worked hard in rehearsals over the last few months and they are all did an amazing job on stage night after night for a week. The Gang Show is an event organised by the scouting and girl guide associations.

World Afro Day Learning Task

As part of Black History Month we celebrated World Afro Day with a whole school assembly. This was followed by pupils taking part in home learning activity where they created afro hair artwork, see some of the brilliant examples below.
