P7 have successfully arrived at camp and are having a fantastic time! Here are some photos of what we have been up to today already!

We were delighted to be awarded our Eco-Schools Scotland Green Flag Award on 3^rd June 2025. We have worked hard across our whole school community on developing and implementing our Eco Action plan to improve and promote sustainable practices within our school community. Well done to Miss Ellis who led on this work this year, and was instrumental in helping us to be successful in achieving the award. The SWAY below showcases all of our hard work across the school this session.

Dalry Primary School Green Flag Journey

We were delighted to be awarded our Reading Schools Core Accreditation on 29^th May 2025. The feedback from our evidence submission was fantastic and we are all very proud to be recognised as a Reading School.

‘It has been very inspiring to read about how well you support and celebrate the diverse population within your school through the range of books and experiences that you provide. It is clear that you also carefully listen to the learners and include them in making decisions about the reading environment and the reading materials that are available to them.

The huge amount of work and dedication you have put into the programme really shone through your application – what an incredible reading environment for your learners.’

Well done to Miss McDermot who led on this work, and was instrumental in helping us to be successful in achieving the award. We are very much looking forwards to building on this success next session by working towards our Silver Award.
