P3 Model Monsters

Primary 3 took part in some design and technology this month by creating a 3D model of the Loch Ness monster swimming around the loch. We had a look at all of our friends model and Anay was the winner! Everyone did a fantastic job and showed amazing creativity skills.

P3 Nessie Baking

As part of our Scots focus, Primary learned and recited the poem ‘Nessie’ by JK Annand.

To follow on from that, we decided to write a recipe for shortbread and bake some in the shape of Nessie. They were delicious!

Sorries for our Assembly

The wonderful folk band The Sorries were finally back in school helping us start our Scots week celebrations for the first time since January 2020.

It was brilliant to sing along with them once again.

Scots Week Assembly

Normally on this Monday of the year we would be starting Scots week, learning about Scottish culture and language and having a brilliant Scots assembly with The Sorries.

Well The Sorries surprised us today by sending a brilliant video assembly for us.

The link is below. It is one of the highlights of our school year but not normally one our parents and carers get to share so why not watch this over your lunch or after the working day with your whole family to share the fun.

Thank you to The Sorries!
