Primary 5 have been exploring careers using the tool My World of Work which is accessible through Skills Development Scotland.
They have put together a report on it attached below.
Our correspondent Madison in P5 has sent the attached report on a visitor at the school.
Do you have a skill or talent that you would like to share with a small group of pupils?
Could you commit 1 hour on a Friday for 3 weeks?
We have reviewed our Masterclass programme and the children have identified some activities that they would like to have next session:
Stop Motion Animation
Caring for animals
If you have skill, talent and enthusiasm in these areas, or indeed and other areas that you would like to share, please contact Mrs Mason.
We visited the museum to find out about how Science and superhero skills and qualities are linked; such as enquire, energise, communicate, explore and technology by design.
Mrs Mason had to complete a challenge against another teacher. She looked really funny with her protective clothing on.
After the Superhero show, we explored different parts of the museum and had lots of fun.
Nikolas produced this wonderful model of a mansion to represent a setting in his group novel.
Nikolas chose to create this as his reading task role this week was’ illustrious illustrator. His group were very impressed that he used a variety of media, from straws to plasticine, in order to give it stability.
