As part of Dalry’s Health week P5/4 have been trying taekwondo. Check out the high kicks!
P4 asked to share their learning with the school, they were enthusiastic about their topic and learnt a lot of interesting facts and they wanted to inspire others to learn about the Egyptians also. They decided to create a museum and used their visit to the museum to help plan every aspect of the day themselves. I was very impressed about their careful consideration as to how to encourage people to explore the exhibits as well as have fun while learning.
It was a very successful day and we would like to thank all the classes and parents/carers who visited on the day. To celebrate the end of the topic the pupils wrapped some volunteers up as mummies!
We recently held a very, very successful Spring Fair at Dalry Primary.
All classes, and the nursery’s parents, put together some amazing stalls for everyone in the school to try out.
From lucky dips to beat the goalie, treasure maps to (temporary) tattoos.
In total over £200 was raised.
Many thanks to all the staff and students who worked so hard to make it such a success.
Here are some of our best pictures from the day.
Active Schools Booking is now open for Summer term.
A full list of clubs is available in the leaflet below.
We also have a link below for an offline booking form if you don’t have a way to pay online.
Due to the closure for snow Dalry Primary missed out on celebrating world book day.
Instead we will be rescheduling our celebration for this Friday, 9th March.
If your child wishes to they will be welcome to attend school dressed as a character from a favourite book they have read on Friday.
