We’ve been having some American football throwing lessons at lunchtimes in recent weeks, organised by Active Schools and run by Tom from Touchdown UK.
This week Tom also brought in some American football kit for a sporty dressing up session alongside the practice.

Tynecastle Play the Game Centre, in partnership with Tynecastle High School and Edinburgh Active Schools, is a brand new football session for P6-S2 students on Friday afternoons.

The centre offers youngsters the opportunity to participate in games–based activity and matches from 1:00-2:00pm on the Community Pitch at Tynecastle Park and Tynecastle High School.

Active Schools is the programme of sports clubs run in Edinburgh Schools.
They are currently looking for volunteers to get involved with the clubs.
