Jim Douglas Citizenship Award 2021

Our Jim Douglas Citizenship award had joint winners this year.

Created by the family of Jim Douglas, a former Dalry pupil who left Edinburgh to become a leading publisher in Canada, the award celebrates outstanding contribution to the school from a pupil in P5-7 who has embodied our school values:

Together we are respectful, included, responsible and kind.

The staff vote resulted in Lucy and Sam receiving exactly the same amount of votes. Mrs Honeyman and Miss Kelly decided that rather than attempt to break the deadlock with a runoff both should win the award.

Congratulations Sam and Lucy!
