On Wednesday, P7 visited Lady Haig Poppy factory in Edinburgh. What a fantastic day that was!
For the first hour, we had the pleasure of learning lots about WW2 from an ex-Army Sergeant who surely keep us on our toes with this stories and his loud voice!
After getting the opportunity to try on some of the old clothes and weapons, we then made our way down to the factory floor where we found out how the poppies were made and the kinds of things the poppies were used for.
Finally, we finished off our day with some juice and even made poppies of our own to take home. A great day was had by all and a huge thanks to Lady Haig Poppy Factory who made us so welcome when we were there
