We have now been able to order all of these, picture books, reading books and novels for our school collection.

LOOK AT WHAT OUR WOODLAND EXPLORERS GOT UP TO!
They went on a bug hunt and found spiders, woodlice, beetles, snails, flies, wasps bees … our own little David Attenboroughs!
Thank you to all the parents who went Miss Brough, and to the sunny weather which added to a great day out in the woods!
P2a are learning about money at the moment.
The children are are learning to identify and count the different coins using a range of games in class.
We had a lovely day at Gorgie Farm.
Fiona and Elspeth, who work at the farm gave us a tour.
We saw the farm garden and compost heap, lots of different farm animals and got to hold a hedgehog, chick, tortoise and guinea pig at ‘Cuddle Corner’.
A BIG ‘thank you’ to all the parents, aunts and nanna’s who came with us and made this trip possible!

Nikolas produced this wonderful model of a mansion to represent a setting in his group novel.
Nikolas chose to create this as his reading task role this week was’ illustrious illustrator. His group were very impressed that he used a variety of media, from straws to plasticine, in order to give it stability.
